Nobody's Perfect

A 6 week parenting program for parents with children from birth to 6 years.  The goal of the program is to:

  • Help you recognize your strengths as a parent
  • Help you find positive ways to raise the healthy, happy children - Give you the opportunity to meet other families

Peer Support Training Program (Registration Required)

For parents/caregivers of children from birth to 6 years of age who are interested in learning about peer mentorship. This training course is for individuals interested in volunteering to work with other parents in a supportive role through our Family Place programs.  Topics to be included:

  • What is a Family Resource Centre?  
  • The benefits of volunteering.  
  • What does peer support look like?  
  • Stress Management.  How to be an effective listener.  
  • Crisis Management.  
  • Community resources and the referral process.  
  • and much more!  

*Childminding/Transportation available if needed
